Youth and Young Adult Updates
First and foremost, a big thank you to everyone who was a part of Youth Sunday. This includes all of the youth, the parents, and members of the congregation! It is such an amazing opportunity for our young people to take what they are learning and share it. Their interests are as unique as they are, and it is always wonderful to watch them study Scripture. A special shout out to Beth Miller, who made it possible for me to be upstairs while she handled getting breakfast prepared for the teens.
April is often a full month, especially with Easter Sunday right around the corner. The schedule for youth and young adult events are:
Sunday, 4/6 – Young Adult Meet up @ Starbucks 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 4/9 – Youth and Young Adults help pack Easter Eggs for Community East Egg Hunt (@ Fellowship Center) 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 4/16 – Youth Group @ Fellowship Center 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, 4/19 – Youth and Young Adults help hide Easter Eggs @ Fellowship Center 8:00 a.m.
Wednesday, 4/23 – Youth Group @ Fellowship Center 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, 4/27 – Young Adult Meet up @ Starbucks 6:00 p.m.
April’s Service Focus for the Young Adults and Youth will be the Easter Egg hunt at the Fellowship Center on April 19th @10:00 a.m. Not only will students and YA be invited to help stuff and hide eggs, but also to stay and help during the event. We appreciate everyone who helped donate laundry detergent during the months of February and March – you are all rock stars!

So many young people make a commitment or reaffirm their faith at camp, adults that love God are such an important part of that moment.
